Eric magee, campaign Director

Eric Magee is a community‑centered leader; driven by a deep belief in the power of collaboration, creativity, and optimism. He brings years of hands‑on experience working with youth, families, and educators, along with a passion for building partnerships that move a community forward.

Before joining Haverhill Promise, Eric served as Program Director at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Haverhill, where he led high‑impact youth programs and strengthened cross‑community initiatives. In 2024, he was recognized as the Program Professional of the Year, awarded to one outstanding youth development professional across all Boys & Girls Clubs in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. In addition, the club won multiple statewide programming awards under Eric’s leadership.

Eric Magee also served in several statewide leadership roles, including Co‑Chair of the Program Council (planned and facilitated monthly professional development seminars for youth‑serving professionals statewide). He also served on statewide Youth of the Year committee and played a key role in the annual Summer Lead Off Training Summit, supporting systemwide staff development and program excellence across all boys and Girls clubs in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.

He brings both heart and strategy to the work, grounded in a commitment to equity, community empowerment, and meaningful collective impact.
