Dr. Jessica Kallin, Executive Director

Jessica is a driven government and nonprofit professional with over ten years of experience in collective impact, working with diverse communities and strategic partnership development. Her background leans between operations and strategy with experience in both grassroots and systems level change. She previously worked for the Utah State Office of Refugee Services, then later as the head of youth and family services for a nonprofit refugee resettlement agency, where she advocated for intersectional policy change and educational equity. Prior to joining Haverhill Promise, she oversaw Family and Community Engagement at the Utah State Board of Education for all K-12 public education statewide. She is committed to community empowerment and coalition building, and brings with her expertise in strategic planning and social impact. Jessica holds a Masters of Art in Community Leadership from Westminster College and Doctorate of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership through the University of Southern California.

In her role as Director, Jessica will build on the work started in 2018 when Haverhill Promise was founded and lead its strategy through the next phase of its work. She will engage communities throughout the city to demonstrate the importance of grade-level reading and how it can be a pathway to success and opportunity that shapes the future for all children in Haverhill.
