2020-2021 Attendance Awareness Poster Design Contest

About the Contest
In December of 2020, all Haverhill students in Pre-K through 8th grade were invited to submit an eye-catching poster design that highlighted the importance of daily attendance using the phrase "School every day, no matter which way." Haverhill Promise received more than 200 fantastic entries from students of all ages in a variety of mediums including digital art, mixed media collage, paint, colored pencil, crayon, and marker. Entries were judged by the Haverhill Promise Attendance work group and a community panel of five local artists.
1 School-Wide winner from each participating school received an engraved award plaque and a Haverhill themed prize basket valued at $50. The winning designs were printed and displayed at their respective schools.
4 City-Wide winners (1 each from Pre-K/Kindergarten, 1st-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th) received an engraved award plaque and a $100 Visa gift card. The winning designs were printed and displayed around the City of Haverhill, and on the HC Media Studio 101 digital billboard at Harbor Place during the month of February.
22 Honorable Mention winners received a $10 Dunkin gift card.
